Hong Kong International Jewellery Show between 5-9 March 2013 at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre
The HKTDC Hong Kong International Jewellery Show is one of the world's top three jewellery events and an excellent venue at which to advance business in this shining industry. The show celebrates its 30th edition in 2013 by returning to its regular position in the trade event calendar, running from 5-9 March.
Hong Kong is the world's fourth largest exporter of fine jewellery and pearls and is a long-established international centre for the jewellery business. The city's focal position in the global industry is boosted by its proximity to the vast Chinese mainland market with its fast-growing demand for fine jewellery. Strong trade links with the leading export destination of India, another thriving market, add to Hong Kong's position as a leading Asian jewellery hub.
The show builds on its growing reputation for quantity as well as quality – the 2012 edition featured a record-breaking more than 3,100 exhibitors from 48 countries and regions. Group pavilions at the show enable countries and trade organisations to combine forces, allowing for even greater opportunities to make contacts and to find out more about what's shaping contemporary designs. The increase in scope and range of items on show attracted more than 38,000 buyers from 143 countries and regions, keen to source new jewellery items and see for themselves the trends and styles influencing this glittering industry.
